Paul qualified as a solicitor in 1982, and has been in practice since then. A founder member of Mitchell Wilde LLP in 2005, his expertise is in work relating to an unusually wide range of business related disputes. He has won cases in Courts up to and including the House of Lords (where he was involved in a case which changed the law about the liability of policemen for wrongdoing in the course of an investigation, following a series of multi million pound fraud cases). His recent cases have included a high court trial following the break up of an Anglo-German joint venture. Paul has a special interest in disputes arising from the development and application of IT, and in business related crime and commercial fraud, as well as in shareholder and partner disputes. |
