Paul Mitchell (Managing Partner)
Paul is able to advise on all aspects of business disputes and has almost 30 years’ experience in the field of litigation. He advises on a wide range of contentious litigation issues including contractual disputes, injunctions, minority shareholder actions, business and share sale disputes, and insolvency cases, as well as the all-important business matter of debt collection. He has a particular interest in advising on injunctions to prevent unlawful competition, often by former employees or partners.
He has experience of dealing with complex frauds, and of conducting cases successfully up to and including the House of Lords.
He has also successfully completed the ACTAPS course – the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists – and so is able to advise on will and trust disputes.

Parminder Sandhu (Partner)
Parminder started her career with us as a part-time paralegal in 2012 and has been with us ever since. Parminder specialises in business sales and acquisitions, commercial law and commercial property.
Parminder is known for providing bespoke advice to businesses and their owners. Her clients range from start-ups to more established businesses, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Parminder’s previous background was in retail, where she gained experience in employment, health & safety and licensing. All of which have assisted her in a variety of cases she has handled.

Tom Mansell (Solicitor)
Tom joined Mitchell Wilde in summer 2019 after completing his LPC at Nottingham Law School, choosing electives in Advanced Commercial Property, Private Company Acquisitions and Employment, in which he graduated with a distinction.
Before undertaking the LPC, Tom spent a year in a conveyancing department as a paralegal assisting with a busy caseload, after graduating from the University of Hull with a First Class LLB (Hons) Law degree.
Tom qualified as a solicitor in November 2021 and assists clients with a range of contentious matters ranging from shareholder disputes, claims against professionals, complaints to the Financial Services Ombudsman, claims under share and purchase agreements, contractual disputes and property disputes.
Tom also advises clients on a range of commercial property matters including the drafting and negotiation of new leases, the assignment of leases and the sale and purchase of commercial property.
Tom’s clients would describe him as approachable, diligent and practical, and his advice as thorough and creative.

Lubna Chaka (Solicitor)
Lubna joined Mitchell Wilde in December 2022 having moved from the North West.
She studied at the University of Central Lancashire where she graduated with a 2:1 in LLB and a Distinction in the LLM and the LPC.
Lubna’s background is in litigation and has 7 years of experience in the field. She sees cases all the way through to trial and has amassed a wealth of knowledge on civil procedure rules.
Lubna qualified as a Solicitor in September 2019 and specialises in disputes and resolution.

Amrita Johal (Solicitor)
Amrita graduated in 2015 with a 2:1 LLB Law with French Law and Language degree from the University of Leicester, during which she spent a year abroad in Strasbourg, France.
After working in retail and recruitment administration, Amrita worked as a commercial property paralegal at a Nottingham law firm. She then went on to study the LPC full time at Nottingham Law School and chose electives in Advanced Commercial Property, Advanced Criminal Practice and Employment Law, achieving a Distinction overall.
Amrita joined Mitchell Wilde in January 2022 initially as a paralegal and now as a solicitor having completed her training in January 2024. Amrita’s specialises in Commercial Property, Commercial Law and Litigation.

Alia Munir (Paralegal)
Alia graduated in 2022 with a 2:1 in LLB Law from Nottingham Law School. Alia then went on to study the LPC full time at Nottingham Law School and chose electives in Advanced Criminal Practice, Family and Child Protection Law and Advanced Advocacy, achieving a Distinction overall.
After working in retail and hospitality, Alia then worked as a commercial property paralegal at a Nottingham law firm.
Alia has recently joined Mitchell Wilde in May 2024 as a paralegal. Alia specialises in Commercial Property and Commercial Law.
